I was so happy to see these two again. Tiffany and Josh are one of those couples who you just can’t wait to work with and I was so happy that they opted for a Rock the Dress session. Below is a quick peek at our trek through the snowy wilderness (knee-deep!). 🙂

Today I wanted to share the second to last wedding of 2013! Tiffany and Josh got married at Cherry Creek Golf Club and Banquet Center. They were such troopers enduring the cold winter weather and snow (which was so worth it). Can’t wait to see you guys again soon at your Rock the Dress session! […]
Another beautiful senior session that I meant to share for some time… We took Sarina out on a snowy winter day for a stroll through the beautiful Oakhurst Golf and Country Club. Enjoy! 🙂
Today I wanted to share some images from the winter wedding I photographed last month. Taryn and Nick got married at the stunning Colony Club in downtown Detroit. While some wouldn’t be thrilled about the snow storm that hit the morning of their wedding, Taryn and Nick kept their cool (pun intended) and good spirit. […]
2013 began with quite the celebration – my niece’s winter wedding! As many of you know, my wife’s parents have 14 children and 42 grandchildren – pause here for gasps. 🙂 Well, Kayleena was the first of the grandkids to tie the knot and I had the great privilege of capturing the pure love and joy between Kayleena and Nick on their big day. Despite being so young, these two have centered their marriage around God and share a deep spiritual maturity that will never fail them as they celebrate many anniversaries to come!
Today a quick look at Alina and Levi’s winter engagement session in Clarkston. Such a fun couple! And I’m so happy that we got some snow… yay!
Today I wanted to share Amanda and Leigh’s beautiful winter wedding at the breathtaking Planterra Conservatory in West Bloomfield. I loved the feel of the greenhouse with all the exotic plants and flowers – it’s probably the closest to an exotic destination wedding experience you can get in Metro Detroit. 🙂 Big kudos to the other […]
A few days after their wedding Lindsey and Nick put their wedding dress and tux back on, fired up their 4×4 and headed to meet me at a forest in Clarkston after the snow storm for their Rock the Dress session. It was cold, it was snowy, and it was so worth it. 🙂 I hope you’ll enjoy the images below.
I love winter and winter weddings. I think they are so romantic and moody with all the snow and contrast. This is why I was looking forward to Lindsey and Nick’s wedding this past December. Their ceremony took place at St. Mary’s Catholic church in Orchard Lake and the Reception right in our backyard – Pine Knob Carriage House in Clarkston. Given that Lindsey and Nick spent the last few years in Grenada I was extremely impressed by their tolerance of cold. At two points during the day Lindsey was literally running barefoot in the snow outside while we were taking pictures.
