I love winter and winter weddings. I think they are so romantic and moody with all the snow and contrast. This is why I was looking forward to Lindsey and Nick’s wedding this past December. Their ceremony took place at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Orchard Lake and the reception was right in our backyard – Pine Knob Carriage House in Clarkston. Given that Lindsey and Nick spent the last few years in the Caribbean I was extremely impressed by their tolerance of cold weather. At two points during the day Lindsey was literally running barefoot in the snow outside while we were taking pictures.
