What a gorgeous wedding through and through. Natalia and Piotr’s day was filled with Polish traditions… “Brama”, first look and parents’ blessing at the bride’s home, sharing of the bread and more! It brought back so many fond memories from the time when I photographed weddings in Poland, complete with the typical Polish hospitality (Piotrek running out of the party bus to bring me a sandwich and Natalia sending me home with a boxful of wedding treats).
After the blessing we trotted around downtown Detroit for pictures of the two of them and the bridal party. Their ceremony was at St. Florian Catholic Church in Hamtramck and their reception, beautifully designed by Izabela from GoIzzy Custom Event Design, took place at the American Polish Cultural Center in Troy. Entertainment by Rytm.
