I’m far behind on things I want to blog about but I couldn’t not post a sneak peek of Tara and Joe’s snowy engagement session at Oakhurst Golf and Country Club in Clarkston, MI. Enjoy!

I want to congratulate these die hards – Brittney and Chris! They braved some pretty cold temps for an outdoor photo shoot, but the winter weather made for some fun shots that I hope they will always cherish. Seeing their chattering teeth and rosy cheeks took me back 3 years to my own Rock the Dress session in January when my wife and I froze in our wedding get-ups, posing for pictures!

I am still catching up on the last of my projects from 2011, but I just wanted to share a quick sneak peek of the latest ABC (Association of Bridal Consultants) event a few days ago at The Links at Whitmore Lake. It was such an honor to be the photography sponsor for the occasion along with some other incredible vendors (listed below). It was also super nice to see Shane from Shane Tincu Films, Ana from Twofoot Creative and Jeffrey from JLB weddings (thanks for the photos of me speaking, Jeffrey!) and to have an opportunity to meet many other great wedding vendors. I also got to discover my new favorite dessert ever: Pinkberry Frozen Yogurt. Please, do not try it. You WILL get hooked and end up driving tens of miles just to get some.

Happy Thanksgiving! So much to be thankful for today..my family and friends, my faith, my health and of course my job. Being able to take pictures for a living is a huge blessing. And so today I’m happy to share Brandie & Joe’s wedding!
They got married just a couple weeks ago on a chilly November day sort of like today. The bridal party was so great, going along with all my crazy ideas and posing for pictures out in the cold.
I also had a great time working alongside Shane & Lisa Tincu from Shane Tincu Films. And this lucky bride and groom had Go Izzy, so the floral arrangements and decorations looked amazing.

Can’t wait for Brandie and Joe’s Rock the Dress session soon!

A sneak peek at another beautiful wedding is here! Kelly and Josh got married at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Lansing and their reception took place at the Country Club of Lansing. A truly incredible and fun wedding…

Bagpipes, kilts, rustic surroundings…  Meet Sarah and Ryan on their stylized wedding at Addison Oaks in Leonard. It was a very short coverage and I loved every minute of it!

I wish I had more time for a truly proper blog post (A.K.A. lots of text describing all the infinite awesomeness of my numerous, spectacular clients). As it is you will have to enjoy the images.

While I’m still very busy with photoshoots every week and taking care of our newborn baby boy, I have finally  begun to catch up on editing and today I wanted to share a sneak peek at Kendra and Eric’s wedding at Weller’s Carriage in Saline. Kendra and Eric are a super genuine and sweet couple and I was very honored to be able to photograph their amazing day. Enjoy!

Last week my wife gave birth to our first baby, a son! So whenever I’m not snapping photos of Baby Dominik or holding him, I’m trying to keep up with editing photos, meeting with couples, doing photoshoots…

Here’s the latest – a preview of Kaitlin and Jasen’s wedding day, which wasn’t that long ago, but I feel like I’ve come to know them quite well through their engagement shoot, wedding at Twin Lakes Golf Club and just yesterday, their “Rock the Dress” session. They are one of the sweetest couples I’ve had the pleasure to work with and anyone who spends time with them can see how in love they are with each other.

My wife Anne and I drove down from the Upper Peninsula the day before this Grand Rapids wedding, relaxed and rested, but excited about having electricity again! Anne’s family always vacations in the UP at some cabins on a private lake in the middle of nowhere without internet or cell phone reception. It was just what I needed after such a busy wedding season, but it was also good to return to society and all the luxuries that entails.
