I am still catching up on the last of my projects from 2011, but I just wanted to share a quick sneak peek of the latest ABC (Association of Bridal Consultants) event a few days ago at The Links at Whitmore Lake. It was such an honor to be the photography sponsor for the occasion along with some other incredible vendors (listed below). It was also super nice to see Shane from Shane Tincu Films, Ana from Twofoot Creative and Jeffrey from JLB weddings (thanks for the photos of me speaking, Jeffrey!) and to have an opportunity to meet many other great wedding vendors. I also got to discover my new favorite dessert ever: Pinkberry Frozen Yogurt. Please, do not try it. You WILL get hooked and end up driving tens of miles just to get some.

Not too long ago I had a privilege to do a photoshoot  for a totally rockin’ band – Thicker than Water. These images were produced for their newest album titled “Proclaim”. Not too long ago I was commissioned by Everest Collegiate High School and Academy in Clarkston, MI to shoot two ads for their varsity basketball team. I had a lot of fun putting a photoshoot together and the models/team members did great! You can see behind the scenes of this photoshoot on Everest’s blog. The book’s name is “Wedding Photography – A Guide To Contemporary Posing”. My images are published alongside those of top wedding photographers from around the world including David Beckstead, Yervant, Chenin Boutwell, Chuck Arlund, Michael O’Neill, Andrena Douglass, TriCoast Photography, Dave & Quin Cheung! As I’m sure you can tell, I am extremely honoured and excited and will do my best to use this experience and recognition to work even harder on my clients’ weddings!

Two weeks ago I decided to become more culturally active and I set out for London’s River Thames Festival, which is a festival for the end of the summer. The biggest event in London throughout the year. And yes, I did take my camera with me

Not too long ago I got a contract with Oak International for promotional photography of one of their international boarding schools -
Everest Academy. The job yielded tones of fun and thousands of pictures. I got to fly on the helicopter, tour Detroit and Mackinac Island.
I have just finished editing the photos and mailed out the DVDs. Below you can find a couple of the photos from the job. Enjoy
