Hi Erik! I can't wait to shoot your wedding either ! Yes, there is an explanation for the bride and groom holding each other's shoes. It was one of the games run by the band at midnight. The goal of it is to see how well the bride and the groom know each other. The questions go something like this: "Who initiated the first kiss?" or "Who is a better driver?". If the groom thinks it's him, he will raise his shoe, if he thinks it's his wife, he will raise her shoe. It's a lot of fun, for the bride, the groom and the guests. See you soon!
