I want to congratulate these die hards – Brittney and Chris! They braved some pretty cold temps for an outdoor photo shoot, but the winter weather made for some fun shots that I hope they will always cherish. Seeing their chattering teeth and rosy cheeks took me back 3 years to my own Rock the Dress session in January when my wife and I froze in our wedding get-ups, posing for pictures!

I am still catching up on the last of my projects from 2011, but I just wanted to share a quick sneak peek of the latest ABC (Association of Bridal Consultants) event a few days ago at The Links at Whitmore Lake. It was such an honor to be the photography sponsor for the occasion along with some other incredible vendors (listed below). It was also super nice to see Shane from Shane Tincu Films, Ana from Twofoot Creative and Jeffrey from JLB weddings (thanks for the photos of me speaking, Jeffrey!) and to have an opportunity to meet many other great wedding vendors. I also got to discover my new favorite dessert ever: Pinkberry Frozen Yogurt. Please, do not try it. You WILL get hooked and end up driving tens of miles just to get some.

Happy Thanksgiving! So much to be thankful for today..my family and friends, my faith, my health and of course my job. Being able to take pictures for a living is a huge blessing. And so today I’m happy to share Brandie & Joe’s wedding!
They got married just a couple weeks ago on a chilly November day sort of like today. The bridal party was so great, going along with all my crazy ideas and posing for pictures out in the cold.
I also had a great time working alongside Shane & Lisa Tincu from Shane Tincu Films. And this lucky bride and groom had Go Izzy, so the floral arrangements and decorations looked amazing.
Can’t wait for Brandie and Joe’s Rock the Dress session soon!
